SUNDAY MARCH 18

This Sunday, March 18, we will look at the role that Peter plays during that final fateful night—the confidence of Peter quickly fades under the fire-light of interrogation! Join us as we reflect on the fear that often creeps into our life as situations spiral into chaos and we find ourselves standing in Peter’s shoes!

SUNDAY MARCH 11

Prayer can be a difficult thing.  In the Bible we are told to pray but sometimes it seems God is not listening, or we pray and nothing happens.  Hours before Jesus is crucified he kneels down in a quiet place and pours his heart out to God in an incredibly tension filled prayer.  Join us this Sunday, March 11, as we reflect on the prayer of Jesus in the garden and how this may impacts our prayer today.

Living in suffering and darkness is often times chaotic; these are periods in life when we often feel alone and have trouble putting it into words.  Over the next few weeks we will be looking at the chaos of Jesus’ final hours and the darkness he must of felt.  Join us this week as we look at Jesus’ final meal and the chaos and complexity he faced in it.

ADVENT SERMON SERIES: PEOPLE OF THE PLAN

This coming Sunday we will be beginning a new sermon series for advent titled "PEOPLE OF THE PLAN."

In Luke 1:5-25, the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth, we see God at work on two stages: He is at work on the cosmic stage, renewing his plan of salvation for the world, and he is at work on a personal level, hearing the prayer of Elizabeth. God is at work all around us accomplishing his plan. Join us this Sunday as we talk about how God is active in the world and in our lives before we may even be aware of it.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 26

Join us this coming Sunday as Pastor George preaches on Luke 1:1-4:

GOD HAS A PLAN: The prologue to Luke’s gospel, and this sermon, is kind of a prologue to the upcoming Advent season.  In this passage Luke gives us his reason for writing his gospel clear and simple—God has a plan and he wants to assure us of that.  Like Theophilus, we sometimes look at the world around us and wonder where God is, or even if there is a God; but Luke wants to assure us, God has a plan, God is active, and all of this centres around Jesus Christ who has come into the world.

Hope to see you there!
