OCTOBER 5—Peter Fish will be handed out to all the children.  These orange banks are intended to help you to remember Jesus’ compassion and care for hungry people, and to inspire you to your own acts of compassion.  One way is to fill the fish banks with your change and bring them back to church on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2013.

 

 OCTOBER 12—Baptism: We will be celebrating the baptisms of Sophia Grace, daughter of Michael and Maria Nagtegaal as well as Sloane Ada, daughter of Paul and Erica Vanderspruit and sister to Judah.

 

OCTOBER 19 —Communion Join us as we celebrate Communion together. If you believe in, or are seeking after Christ, you’re welcome to join us. *Note* We serve grape juice in our services.

 

OCTOBER 19—Intergenerational Dinner 5:30pm—7:30pm  An intergenerational event celebrating God’s promises to Abraham and us.

 

OCTOBER 20—Neighbourhood Dinner 6pm We are planning a neighbourhood dinner—this will be the first inside dinner this fall and we will be serving lasagna. If you can help by making a lasagna or with set up or clean up, please contact Joanna DeVries  at  Joanna@devco.ca

 

OCTOBER 31: Hallowe’en Handouts!:  On October 31st we are planning to hand out candy, hot chocolate and hot apple cider to our neighbours as they trick or treat.  If you are willing to help out by decorating or handing out candy please contact one of the deacons: James Wasmuth, Dave McKinnon, or Brandon Kinsey.
