November 2015

NOVEMBER: Communion: Join us as we celebrate Communion together every Sunday. If you believe in, or are seeking after Christ, you’re welcome to join us. *Note* We serve grape juice in our services.

NOVEMBER 5 - Praying with the Prayer Books: 7:30pm at the church A group of people meet on the first Monday of the month to explore and debrief the experience of praying with prayer books.  Anyone is free to join at any time.

This is an opportunity to be led in prayer, every morning and evening.  We will experiment using different prayer books, each of which have found a treasured place among Christians.   We will meet once a month to debrief the experience of praying with the particular book of that month, and then introduce the next book for the coming month.  The hope is that after a year of praying this way, we will have found that our prayer life, and more importantly our relationship with Christ, has been deeply and profoundly enriched.

NOVEMBER 8: Peter Fish will be collected.  Simply bring your Peter Fish to the service and the Deacons will be there to collect them before and after the service.

NOVEMBER 23:  Warm Clothing Drive:  Throughout the month of November, The Bridge is accepting new/used warm clothing, in good condition, to be distributed at the neighbourhood dinner on November 23rd.  To find out more about donating or to volunteer for distributing the clothing, please speak with one of the deacons or email  Thank you.

NOVEMBER 23: Neighbourhood Dinner: 6pm here at the church.  Come on out and bring your friends!  Volunteers are needed to help make this dinner successful.   If you can help with set up, serving, or clean up, please contact Joanna DeVries (
