SUNDAY, JANUARY 21

This coming Sunday we will be continuing our current sermon series on The Bridge's mission statement.

In an age of social media where our lives are on display for all to see, what does it mean to live a life “hidden with Christ in God.”  Join us as we cut through the surrealism of our outward ‘profile' to explore the inwardness of who we really are.  Our text will be Col 3:1-4.

This Sunday we will take a closer look at Mary: ln Luke 1:26-38 we read the story of the angel Gabriel visiting Mary and announcing the amazing role she is to play in the coming of Jesus into the world. In this story we see how God chooses, fulfills, and enable his plan within the world, and we also witness Mary’s humble and willing response to God’s call in her life. ADVENT SERMON SERIES: PEOPLE OF THE PLAN

This coming Sunday we will be beginning a new sermon series for advent titled "PEOPLE OF THE PLAN."

In Luke 1:5-25, the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth, we see God at work on two stages: He is at work on the cosmic stage, renewing his plan of salvation for the world, and he is at work on a personal level, hearing the prayer of Elizabeth. God is at work all around us accomplishing his plan. Join us this Sunday as we talk about how God is active in the world and in our lives before we may even be aware of it.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 26

Join us this coming Sunday as Pastor George preaches on Luke 1:1-4:

GOD HAS A PLAN: The prologue to Luke’s gospel, and this sermon, is kind of a prologue to the upcoming Advent season.  In this passage Luke gives us his reason for writing his gospel clear and simple—God has a plan and he wants to assure us of that.  Like Theophilus, we sometimes look at the world around us and wonder where God is, or even if there is a God; but Luke wants to assure us, God has a plan, God is active, and all of this centres around Jesus Christ who has come into the world.

Hope to see you there!
